PT Karya Teknik Utama - most notable for its rapid growth due to great demand in the last 30 years - is building ten floating crane barges to be finished by the end of 2024.
These barges are designated for the transshipment of coal. For the highest transloading performance, each barge will be equipped with a heavy-duty MacGregor crane and a NEMAG Clamshell.
The cranes are designed for 1,800,000 load cycles and are each equipped with a mechanical NEMAG Clamshell grab of 39m3 to ensure optimal efficiency and turnover.
